Aid Stations
Frequency & Locations
- Aid stations positioned approximately every 8 miles
- 50K Full Bigfoot Ultra Challenge runners: Access aid station 4 times
- 25K Sasquatch Discovery runners: One aid station during loop
- 8-Mile Cryptid Explorer runners: One aid station visit
Food & Nutrition Available
Hydration: Water, Gatorade, Soda, and Coffee
Nutrition: Tailwind, GU gel packs, Chips, Candy, Cookies, Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, Mashed potatoes, and Top ramen
(Runners should carry personal nutrition/hydration between aid stations)
Weather
Race morning temperatures will start in the low 30s and reach mid 50s by 3:00 PM. No rain or snow in the forecast. Plan to dress in layers that can be easily removed as temperatures warm up.

Safety Guidelines
- Carry personal water supply between aid stations
- Required gear list coming soon
- Cell phone coverage may be limited on course
- Emergency contact numbers will be provided at packet pickup
- Course marshals and volunteers will be positioned throughout
- Medical support available at start/finish and aid stations
Drop Bags
Drop bag service is available at the start/finish line area for all events. Please ensure your bag is clearly labeled with your name and bib number. While we will take the utmost care with your belongings, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

- Mix of single track and jeep roads

25K Discovery: Perfect for experienced trail runners seeking new mysteries
- Scenic Bosque trails
- Slightly technical terrain
- Beautiful river views
- Must finish before 5:00 PM
8-Mile Explorer: An ideal introduction to the legendary trails
- Single 8-mile clockwise loop
- Moderate terrain with roots and sand
- Perfect for various skill levels
- Must finish before 5:00 PM
Course Marking
- Trail markers and ribbons
- Directional signs at key intersections
- Reflective markers for early morning

Important Notes
- No headphones recommended
- Dogs not permitted on course
- Trekking poles allowed
- Pack out what you pack in
